For a low cost, the Raspberry Pi computer is a tiny single-board device that lets you do as much as a desktop computer. You can browse the internet, watch videos and play games. The Raspberry Pi Foundation has made ten different models of the Raspberry Pi computer. Each model gives you something new.

Raspberry Pi is a tiny low-cost single-board computer. You can use it for everything from watching movies and playing games to learning programming languages and browsing the internet.

 

The British Raspberry Pi Foundation released a new computer model called the Model B in 2012. This new version had a 700 MHz CPU and 256 RAM. Usually, it comes with an HDMI port, Ethernet port, and USB ports. Use the HDMI port to connect your monitor and the USB ports to connect your keyboard and mouse. Connect to the Internet with the Ethernet port.

Raspberry Pi Models

 Raspberry Pi Foundation has released several models since 2012, including the first model Model B. In 2013, Model A was released; it was less expensive and easier to use than Model B. In 2014, Model B+ was released, which had an ARM11 processor and was credit card-sized. In 2015, Raspberry Pi 2 was released with a quad-core 900MHz processor; later they released a much more improved version of this model with a 64-bit 900MHz processor. Models 2B and 3B+ were launched in 2016, both with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities as well as USB boot capabilities.

In 2019, the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B entered the spotlight with a 1.5 GHz 64-bit ARM- Cortex processor. It also features 802.11ac Wi-Fi, gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 5, two USB 3.0 ports, and USB 2.0 ports. Its memory capacity is between 2 and 8GB RAM (between $35-$55). The Raspberry Pi 400 model became available in 2020 with a 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM (between $50-$70). This model includes the Raspberry Pi 400 Kit which consists of a Raspberry Pi keyboard, Raspberry Pi mouse, power supply, and robust cooling solution. In 2021, they released the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W (between $10-$30), the latest version of the Pi Zero series; it is similar to Raspberry Pi 3. Also in 2021, they released the Raspberry Pi Pico with a single microcontroller chip; it costs around $4 and has 264KB of RAM (between $8-$12).

 

Why Should I Need a Raspberry Pi?

  Every tech geek should own a Raspberry Pi. This high-tech device can help you with various tasks and acts as a secondary computer. You can use these Raspberry Pi models as game emulators, web servers, or media streamers. Even though these devices are not fast as your Windows PC, you can use them for several projects. The Raspberry Pi comes with its official operating system, Raspbian; this is a form of Linux and was formerly known as Debian. So, you will get an opportunity to learn about Linux. The display component for the device has an 800 x 480-pixel screen resolution and costs approximately $86.

 

  The Raspberry Pi 400 Kit is the latest version of the Raspberry Pi series. It contains a Raspberry Pi keyboard, a mouse, a power supply, and an SD card reader. The CPU unit is inside the keyboard. The CPU clocks at 1.8 GHz and can be overclocked to 2.2 GHz with ease. Some people think it will overheat the system but don't worry about that because there is a large cooling plate installed inside for cooling purposes. This system runs on Linux but you can use Office 365 too. First connect to your internet and open up Google Chrome then log in to your Microsoft account from here you will be able to use Word Excel PowerPoint etc., you might think that for all these features you'll need to spend lots of money but no only $100 for a kit without any accessories included!

 

 While most people use their Raspberry Pi to code, they can also be used in a number of other ways. With a Raspberry Pi, you can block ads while browsing the web, create a Twitter bot to run your Twitter account and make a digital picture frame using Wi-Fi to which you can upload photos easily.
